Is there a wedding present or registry we can contribute to?

Yes, check out the Registry tab on this website

Where should we stay?

We have curated a small list of hotels for all budgets in the Hotels tab. We recommend staying in the city center of Lyon to be walking distance from everything. Aim for areas like “Presqu’île” and “Vieux Lyon” in Lyon 5th and 2nd “arrondissements”. If you’d like to be close to the wedding venue which is about 30 min south of Lyon, take a look at hotels, “chambres d’hôtes” (sometimes in fabulous castles and villas) or Airbnbs in the surroundings of Millery.

I am flying to France, what are my options to get to Lyon?

If you are flying to France, you have 2 options: 1) Fly into Paris (airports: Roissy CDG or Orly ORY). Then take the TGV train to go to 'Lyon Part-Dieu' or 'Lyon Perrache'. It takes only 2 hours and you can book your tickets on sncf.com. 2) Fly directly to Lyon airport (Saint Exupéry, LYS) and then take the airport shuttle "Rhône Express" to get to Lyon city center (30 min - 10 euros).

Is the wedding happening both on July 14th and July 15th?

We’ll have the ceremony and dinner/party on July 14 from 4pm ‘til the end of the night or until the neighbors kick us out, whichever comes first :D. On Friday July 15, you’re all invited back to Château La Gallée for a casual French Brunch from 12pm to 5pm. Come back to enjoy a Pain au Chocolat with a view or to get to know other guests better in a less formal setting.

What is there to do in Lyon and in the region?

We’re planning some activities for those who will be around in the days prior and after the event. We recommend staying in Lyon at least 3 days. Indeed, Lyon is the capital of the gastronomy. You wouldn’t want to rush to the Riviera too fast and miss out on all the great stuff ;) Learn how Lyon became the capital of the Resistance during WWII by wandering through the mythical "traboules." Try the finest food at the "Halles Bocuse". Explore galleries in the Vieux Lyon. Visit the 2,000 years-old Roman amphitheaters or just chill at the beautiful Parc de la Tête d'Or. Whether you like food, History, Arts or just want to enjoy the French "Art de vivre" and relax, you'll find what you need in Lyon.

Can I come with my pet frog?

Sorry, no pets allowed! :)
